Hi guys,
I have a problem with a bug in the ntlm authenticator in squid 2.5.12 which is in dapper.
For info see
http://www.squid-cache.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=1681
This is resolved in the 2.6.x version ( which is in edgy ).
I don't want to mix my repositories or completely switch to edgy.
What is the best way to get the 2.6.x version working on dapper ?
If I'm going to download the source of the latest stable version of squid, what's the best way to compile this so that it 'matches' ubuntu directory structure or so that it installs in the default ubuntu squid locations...
thanx in advance,
Baastie
