Tuxkart freezes the system periodically

This is especially true for "Olivers math class" level. It happens when the game starts, or 2-3 mins after.
Tuxkart runs just fine on SuSE 9.2

does it quit with an error? what video card are you running? do you have crashes on other 3D games?

I have also experienced system freezing on numerous OpenGL screensavers.
My card is ATI Radeon 9000 pro.

Fglrx drivers solved the problem and now it's faster than ever! :)
