Hi All,

Webilder delivers stunning wallpapers to your Linux desktop, directly from Flickr and Webshots. You choose what keywords (tags) to watch for, and photos are automatically downloaded to your computer. Webilder can also change the wallpaper every few minutes.

Webilder has installation packages for Ubuntu Dapper and Edgy available to download.

For more information and installation instructions, visit: http://www.webilder.org/

Suggestions and ideas are welcome!

Awesome application!
Just one thing bothers me, could you make the applet icon transparent? I have a background in the panel and looks a bit ugly :(

Thanks!

It will be fixed on the next release.

BTW, If anyone would like to contribute an icon to the project, I'll be thankful - I am terrible in this... :)

Has anyone figured out how to get Webilder to change the wallaper on Xubuntu 6.10? I imagine you would have to use the command line wallpaper changing option, but I have been unable to find out what that command would be for Xfce.

Running the feisty version in gutsy here as well with no problems.

One suggestion for a future feature: could you add the ability to delete the current picture from the collection via the applet icon right click menu without having to browse the collection? That way if you get a pic you don't like you can easily remove it from your collection.

Great app!
