Hi everybody, this is my first post on the unbuntu forums, and it's also my first experience with ubuntu or linux as well.
So far everything has been great, but I wanted to play my Half-Life (Steam) and it's mods on ubuntu as well. Since there were tutorials all over for CVSCedega, I decided to give it a try.
I used the tutorial over at linux-gamers.net, and followed everything through. The install worked great, and was no problem until it came too typing up the "cvscedega" command.
I tried it with sudo and still got no luck. I looked around for anyone with the same problems, and no luck there either. So I went searching for the next thing I heard of, Wine.
Once again, install went fine (another tutorial on linux-gamers), but then the "wine" command didn't work, same as cvscedega's problem.
I'm very new to linux, and I'm trying to get the hang of it, so I'm sorry if there's something I've missed here. But I really want to start using Steam so I can rest assured changing to Linux was worth it.
