Edgy is coming soon, and I'm wondering if System76 has any tips or things to watch out for when upgrading on their various hardware (specifically for me--I have the "old" gazelle 12.1"). This will be my first upgrade and I seen lots of concerns on the forums.

We'll have a How To that will cover the upgrade for everyone. I've been testing the upgrade with the BETA release and it's been really smooth - a testament to the work they've done in that area.

it may be a good idea to make a .iso download on your sight for everyone to upgrade to EE 6.10. , that way everyone will have a nice backup and doesnt have to worry about setting up cameras and mics

btw how is the camera driver comming

MrFreetio - actually we cover this in a pretty slick way. We have a driver installed on the machine that determines the machine Model # and Ubuntu Version and then installs the appropriate drivers. No need for a specific .iso.

It's coming along well - the new chipsets required a V4L re-write (development has actually been taking place since June).
