I've had another look around your site. My parents need a new computer soon, so they might be in the market for a Ratel:) (If I can prise them off of Windows)

Here are a few suggestions for your site:
1. For each computer, you should have a short description, eg. "Short of space? The koala could be the right thing for you. It's simple and stlylish..." etc etc.
2.In the windows where you can see a larger picture of the systems, the "Close Window" link at the bottom doesn't look very good. It comes up in my browser's default font, serif or something and blue with an underline. You should keep it in the same style as the rest of the links on the site, or just get rid of it altogeter because you can just click on the close button on the top of the window.
3. You should be able to select what desktop environments you want. There should be checkboxes for UBuntu, Kubuntu and Xubuntu so that you can select more than one.

I agree. We'll be working on these soon.

The close button is a bit silly. Thanks for the suggestion.

This I don't see any time soon. It's a bit more complex than just an option on the site.

I can understand that purely from a resource intensive perspective.

It's not just a matter of resources -- it's a matter of support complicity too...

Each of the three desktops is at a different level of polish with regards to end-user convenience, and so far I have to say that especially with Dapper, GNOME wins hands-down. (note that I personally am more often a KUbuntu user than Ubuntu)

KUbuntu in Edgy has made vast improvementsk, especially in the realm of power management, hotkey support, and removable media friendlieness, so if there is a second environment that system76 should support, I'd recommend KDE/KUbuntu.

By "resource" I meant testing and support personnel not hardware or software resource.
