Where do I put mods for Doom3? I've got Doom3 installed in /usr/local/games/doom3, but no matter where I put the mod directory, it doesn't show up on the list in game. Documentation for the linux version is pretty sparse.

Although I haven't run any modsmy guess would be in the main folder (usr/local/doom3)
I don't play it much because it is really slow in Ubuntu for me.
Be sure to read all the read me files that come with the mod. There may be some help there as well.
Good Luck!!

So far, that hasn't worked for me. And I've yet to see any documentation for a mod that doesn't assume it is for Windows.

What mod or mods are you trying?
Give me some links and next chance I get I'll give them a try myself!

I tried installing the same mods i have in XP and they won't show in mods. I guess this is a "linux" only  bug

I've encountered the same problem, hopefully it will be fixed int he upcoming 1.3 patch. In the meantime to load a mod add "+set fs_game" to the command line followed by the name of the folder the mod is stored in.
For example "doom3 +set fs_game lms" for last man standing :)
