Thought it would be nice with a tread where people could ask for specific features to the programmed into Deluge. Especially when I've got a request myself :D ;)

Feature requested: Upload/download bandwidth Scheduler

I want to be able to schedule when and how much I upload/download, and maybe even stop uploads/downloads at sertain times.

I previously used Azureus, as it was the only torrent app I could find that could do this, and it did it with a plugin called Speed Scheduler. More resently I switched to KTorrent, because I found out that it does this with a similar, but better plugin. If you program something that mimics the scheduler in KTorrent, then it would more than satisfy my needs.

Thank for reading :D

I'm a Transmission convert. I love how this is starting and developing. I know it's a new application but I hope some of my feature requests will see the sun one day.

- ability to send to tray when clicking the [X] button.
- ability to show/hide the torrent status. ie. hide share %, seeders, #, U/L, etc.
- option to associate torrent files to Deluge
* Even though i associated the torrent file to Deluge, when I double click on a torrent file, Deluge opens with no torrent file in progress.
- ability to drag torrent file to application

Thanks for the development and keep up the great job!

- Make compatible with www.bitmetv.org, thanks. There's about only Azureus client what is compatible with BitMeTV in Linux at the moment, and it is sad :(
- Ability to choose speed unit to use. eg now when uploading torrents in D/L column varies down speeds 3 - 60 B/s and it is a bit disturbing because in a U/L column the speed unit is kB/s. No-one really cares about B/s, right?

Again, thanks and keep up with great work!

Using the 0.2.0 release, looking great so far!
A few things- when you hover the mouse over the tray icon, it would be nice if it popped up a "bubble" (the kind like the clock and volume control have) that would say "Deluge" and display maybe your global up/down speed. Also, the play and pause buttons and the tabs along the side should identify themselves in a similar manner. Once you start downloading it becomes readily apparent what they are, but it would be nice to see them explicitly named.

some of those are already applied in SVN

again people, the forums are great for discussion, but if you have a suggestion, be sure to also add it to the google code page, file it under "Issues"

This is more of a suggestion than a feature request. I find myself checking constantly whether or not the download speed I am seeing is in bytes or kilobytes. Maybe you could force it to be in kilobytes and just have everything under 1kb/s be 0kb/s.

Oh I also wanted to say great job. There is still a lot of work to be done for ease of use, but I'm already using it over all the other clients! That just shows how much your work is needed, thanks for progressing the ubuntu community further and making GNU/linux that much more of a viable operating system.

In SVN now, any speed that is reported in B/s is greyed out, so as to avoid confusion

Solid RSS support would really help. That would be a great feature.

Errrr my brain is freid and I don't remember that well the last days (just finished turning in my thesis) But I think I never mentioned it anywhere. I'd like to request that, for the progressbar, you see the % on it. I think it would be really better than how it is now
