How to use Yafray??

I just installed yafray through the repositories and when I try and render a blender project (.blend) it says this:

Starting YafRay ...
Loading grammar ...
Starting parser ...
Failed
Error at line 1 column 17 token BLENDER_v241REND


Anyone know whats wrong? I have no idea how to use yafray really, I just installed it 10 min ago :D

Blender 2.42a would need yafray 0.0.9 while the one on our repo is 0.0.8.

uninstall ur installed one and get the lastest version from :

http://www.yafray.org

they've got a deb ready package there.

If you started yafray from the command line you have to give it an xml file I think. Start YafRay directly through Blender.
