Yafray and Reppu

When I try render in blender with yafray the "rendered" picture is black (I have lights) and I get this message in the console:
Starting scene conversion.
Scene conversion done.
No export directory set in user defaults!
Yafray found at : /usr/bin/
What does it mean I how do I solve my problem?

I have also problem with reppu.
I type this to connect to my brother's reppu server:
reppu /home/hampus/test.blend -e 1 172.25.25.98
And I get this message:
:: Connection failed [172.25.25.98]: No route to host
What does it mean, and how do I solve my problem?

I have searched google but I haven't found anything usefull.
I hope I posted in the right forum.

can you ping it?

The ip was not 172.25.25.98, it was 172.25.25.127, I can ping it but still doesn't work with reppu.
