Looks really nice. You now have core 2 duo, nvidia and the black color is the default, not to mention the port replicator!
Was there a reason to not introduce the higher frequency core 2 duo chips? If I go to the customize page, I can only select the 1.83 GHz core 2 duo chip.
Doesn't the 1.83 Ghz chip come with a 4Mb L2 cache?
Also, what is the model number for the nVidia chip? Is it still the 7300 Go chip?
Thanks.

Thanks - this is actually a custom System76 laptop. The System76 logo is on the cover in white - pics coming soon (it looks awesome).

we just don't have any stock yet.

The T5600 (1.83 Ghz Core 2 Duo) has 2MB of L2 cache

Yes the nVidia GeForce Go 7300

and is it possible to order the performance model with the 9 cell battery standard, rather than paying for the 6 and 9 cell?
also, how does the port replicator work? is a dock-style, etc. and are there any pics of it?

No the 6 cell comes standard with the machine.

There is a cable that extends from the port replicator and plugs into the back of the machine. - The pic on the site next to port replicator is the best one I have now. I'll get some more pics and post it on knowledge76.com

OK, makes sense
I've been researching ASUS barebones lately. The Gazelle performance is, as far as I can tell, built off of an ASUS Z62J or S62J barebones kit. Now, I'm not sure about the S62J (the VBI model) but at least the Z62J has a compatible internal bluetooth module, at least, sites I've configured them on have listed it as an option. If this is indeed what you are using, you should look into offering internal bluetooth in your notebooks.
Or, if I'm completely off my mark, just disregard me and go on your way

Carl or someone else from system76, do you have an ETA on the 2 GHz and higher Core 2 duo chips in the Gazelle performance?
The 4MB L2 cache on the 2GHz Core 2 duo and higher chips is very attractive in terms of performance as opposed to the 2MB cache on the Core duo that is currently being sold.
Thanks.

Hi Prana - I don't have a specific ETA but it looks like they're coming at the end of the month.
