problems with nvedia gefore fx 6200v+ video card

my graphics card is not working right. it will not do near a good of a job as I now it can. why can it not do as well with the graphics in linux as in widows

it is a nevidea geforce fx 6200v+ 256mb sli-ready dvi,vga,and s-video out
i'm using the vga port to a ctr moniter

Have you installed the nVidia owned drivers for it?
