Install wine and try with that.

Allthough in no way is it guarenteed to work.

sudo apt-get install wine

Then run;
wine /path/to/championship/manager/executable/setup.exe

Replacing with actual path to executable.

Please join the www.winehq.com app database and report if you can get it to run/install ok.

Can you not just run it from the cd?

Like the setup.exe or install.exe?
There should be an executable on it somewhere.

wine /media/cdrom/setup.exe
Something like that.

As i said let us know on here, and file a report on www.winehq.com in their app database (even if it fails miserably!) so other users can find out this games status on linux.

Sounds like its trying to run another executable in the setup folder.

Try running any exectuable in that folder.

(my help on this matter is rapidly dwindling, have no real knowledge of wine and all its workings)
