Hello All,
I was just wondering what is the best program to animate GIFs. I've got The Gimp and a few other graphics prgrams installed, but it seems that they cannot animate GIFs! What do you guys use?

I use gimp to make animated .gif works good.
Take the avatar I have of Robotboy. I took the picture and made animated eyes on it.

Yep, Gimp does it.
The way to do it (in case you're not sure) is to make a new layer for each frame. When you come to save it as a GIF you will see the option to either flatten the image or animate it.

If you get the GIMP Animation Package (GAP, avaliable in the repositories), you can load movie files as frames and make those into animated GIFs as well.
