can't upload files with konqueror

I get this error:

Fatal error: Direct Instantiation of vB_Image_Abstract prohibited. in /includes/class_image.php on line 188

is there a reason for this?

It's not just with Konqueror. It happened to me with Firefox, too, just now.

This has just happened to me last night and I tried again today and it gives me this error page.

The connection was reset
The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

* The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few
moments.

* If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
connection.

* If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

[Try Again]If I click Try Again it asks about POSTDATA being sent, if I then click okay.
