View Full Version : Partitioning problems, installing Kubuntu on G4

Hi-

I'm trying to install Kubuntu from the install CD, but whenever I try to manually edit the partition table, the view doesn't show up in the installer window and if I click Continue, it states that the advanced partitioner has crashed.

I'm not sure what to do. I've installed Ubuntu before, but that was in the 5.10 days before the new installer. Does anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it?

You probobly have the wrong version, you may have the i386 version, and you need the PowerPC for Mac version. (I hope its that easy)

No, it's the correct version. It wouldn't boot at all if it was the wrong version.
