S.C.O.U.R.G.E -- anyone succeeded installing?

it has been frought with peril for me. i have been emailing the developer and sofar the game crashes because of something to do with my video card and 128 bit textures.

strange thing is i can run ut2004 neverwinter nights, utgoty and war3(cedega) so i think its the problem is with scourge and not my video card.

the author created an autopackage for ubuntu, i am going to give it a whirl today most likely.

when we get a successful package built i will let you know, scourge looks like a really awesome game that has great potential.

Yeah, I had the same problems. Always crashing due to some SDL thing. Then I just downloaded the CVS version compiled it and it works fine.

he might have put in some code fixes to my problems. i was not getting a sdl error though.
