Yes - you CAN retitle this post.
Efficient use of downloaded packages in /var/cache/apt/archives.
Reusing packages with the Synaptic "add downloade packages" "reload package information adds them to the list of installed packages. (real bear to sort out)
Is "Would you like to copy downloaded Packages to a seperate directoy for a future install?" be a good idea?
It seems to offer savings for Canonical and ease of use for everyone .
especially those using slow connections.
'cept developers naturall it's always that way. Don't you always get silly ideas like this one from users?
