I need to run some old dos programs i have, but I don't know how to configure dosemu with freedos (1.0). Help please:confused:

But what is the best way to run dos progs in ubuntu (dapper): is it Dosemu, Dosbox, Qemu or Bochs?

Funny you should ask! I just set up Freedos inside Qemu last night. I used this guide (http://linuxhelp.blogspot.com/2006/09/concise-guide-to-installing-and-using.html).
