I know Mac OS X has the ability to rotate the wallpapers at certain intervals. Windows XP, to my knowledge can't do this. How about in Hoary? I think things like that are pretty cool.

KDE has been able to do this for a while, IIRC.

AFAIK Gnome doesn't have the ability to rotate wallpapers, although it would be a nice feature.

On a related note, try playing with the vertical hold, although that make you feel seasick! ;-)
