I'm "considering" writing a fixed wired networking tutorial/trouble shooting guide. I've come to the conclusion the same questions get asked over and over.

How long can a post be ?
Can the post be locked so only myself or staff can edit it ? Reason, I don't want people asking for suuport resquest in the post but I would like to update it.

Why don't you make a topic in the wiki, then.

#-oGood point. But I'm thinking of the forums having the post as a sticky at the top. Hoping people would read it before they ask.

You could post a link to it...anyway, 50,000 chars seems long enough, and you could always make 2 posts or more. Don't go overboard..hehee...10,000 words would make it a book!
