Tropico like games

Hi, i am looking for a free opensource alternative to tropico. Does anyone know if this even exists? And are there maybe other free opensource economic-political simulators available for Linux?

And yes i can play tropico throuhg wine, but it crashes sometimes for no reason and tropico is a bit aged nowadays.

I do not know if it helps you but Tropico has gold evaluation in wine Paradise island has silver and tropico 2 has a bronze medal. Also if you have cedega again all three works. I personally tried tropico 2 on cedega. I was unable to play it (I have an ATI card) but once i started on an nvidia machine and changed to software rendering it started to work on my ATI without any problem. So good luck you might be able to play these original games
