Firefox needs an upgrade

the current firefox on Ubuntu's repositories is two versions old, there is a new security patched version of firefox that needs to be put into the repositories.
For now I am using opera until the repository is fixed.

Don't panic, it will come out shortly...

but I have to agree..that it is unbearably slow...Fedora upgraded their repos ages ago.

yeh, mind you I only posted this here as I didnt know exactly where this would go.

Honestly this is why I am not happy with ubuntu's repositories... I am going to make a full move to ubuntu soon and this is kind of discouraging.
Currently I am on Mepis linux that is now ubuntu based.
