I'd like 3D acceleration in xorg (for games, of course). I installed the fglrx drivers from synaptic, but I'm quite new to Ubuntu (got it last night) and wondered if anyone has 3D support on their Radeon video card (especially a Mobility). If anyone knows what I should do, help would be much appreciated. Someone mentioned apt-get or something on another topic, but I have no idea what that means...sorry for being such a n00b. I'd be happy to post any information that'd be helpful to you all. Currently xorg works fine at 1920x1200 with the driver specified as "ati," but glxgears only gives me about 300fps.
