I am a member of Japanese translation team and
I have a difficulty with translating in the following section:
http://ubuntuguide.org/wiki/Ubuntu_dapper#How_to_install_Vector_Graphics_Edito r_.28Inkscape.29

This section instructs the installation of Inkscape and it says:

3. Right-click it, enable "Properties --> Permissions --> Owner:Execute" and close the dialogue box. (One-time procedure)
4. Double-click it and follow the instructions.
5. Install the support code system-wide, if you have the root password. (One-time procedure)

What are these "(One-time procedure)" intended? I guess that means "you may not do twice", or "you don't have to do twice", but since the theme is the installation, why do you do twice, anyway? Could anyone help me?

OK this has me a little confused. I've onot done that, so I'm just going on what I have read.

Yes a 'one time procedure' is something you will only have to do once. For example mounting your windows partition if you dual boot requires you to edit fstab one time only. Every time you boot it picks it up automatically.

I think they are just trying to say once it is installed you don't have to install it again to run the program. In my opinion it is unnecersary to have 'one-time procedure' in there.

Hope this helps (and if there is a reason that I'm missing why it says that please correct me!)

Thank you to resolve my confusion. Then I'll omit the translation for them.
