Well, just started learning Python, a really nice language. For learning I made this plugin, that list all mounted disks in /media and all gtkbookmarks (havn't seen it for real yet).
If I work a little more with it I somehow might figure out how to update the list everytime you put in a removeable-disk
It isn't complete but it works, I hope :)
Just extract the tar.gz-file and put USPGTKPlaces.py and USPGTKPlaces.glade in ~/.usp/plugins

Really good work! Mat had already put down the code for this and all mounted volumes, I have attached a screenshot of it running showing all mounted volumes (included network). It will be released shortly with USP2. At least you can use yours in the interim ;-) and I see you are sharpening up your Python skills :-P
If you really want a challenge, try helping us with the "USP behind Panel" bug ;-)

Nice :). Is that updating the list too? That was like the goal with this plugin.
If there is anything in the code I could made easier, it would be very nice if someone told me that. So I will improve my skills in python :)
Edit: By the way, is there a developersite/irc-channel or something so we know what you're developing right now? So I don't invent the wheel again. :)

Yeah, actually it's a crop of usp run-in-window :-P
@ Mucha - Sorry about you re-inventing the wheel, think of it as your learning exercise ;-) When I issue it, have a look at the code, you'll be plesantly surprised. The locations will also update as they change...
Thats about the only new item that we added for the next release. You could also PM me so I can give you any help if you like... There was a wishlist for plugins development if you want to look at it to sharpen up your python... The most requested was a TODO list...

I saw some code in usp-places2.py from svn. How often is that updated?
