Counter strike - Not the server! - How do I install?

Hi There,

Any howto out there, explaining how to get Counter Strike running on Linux?

I've googled it, but haven't found nothing but guides to install the "Counter Strike Server"

I really love this game! - Please help!

Have you checked if it runs under Wine/Cedega?

Also, you could try out the True Combat Elite that works natively on Linux..
Its a total mod of the free Enemy Territory game. True Combate is very similar to Counterstrike..I would say better :p

What is Steam for?

Ok, but with steam installed, do you have CS running smoothly?

When opening with WINE, i can't see nothing but a little rectangle of the desired picture (I think it's a part of "Console" I can see!)

You will need the drivers for your graphic card then it will run perfect if you got an nvidia card search for nvidia in synaptic if you got ati search for ati or you could try to install automatix and then youll get many other nice things to :)
