Silly Mistake

Hi Carl & system76,

I inadvertently removed my user from all groups. :D

I have added myself back to the ones I could remember. However, I am sure I got all of them. What are the initial group settings?

Edit to my previous post: I meant that i am NOT sure that I got all of them.

I don't see an option to edit my existing post. Is there a reason that feature is disabled in this forum?

One more note, possibly unrelated but I am not sure.

I can no longer see the shared folders of my laptop from other machines in my office. Could this be related to my groups fiasco, and if so, which group is responsible. I don't see a samba group.

The easiest way is to use System > Administration > Users & Groups

Click your user > Properties > User priveledges tab > Tick on all the checkboxes
