Just instlled drapper (default install), update manager was showing one update. When I tried to get it the download failed. Tried using apt-get and same problems there. So I went hunting!
I found a lot of people are having problems with updates.
Some posts suggested unchecking the keyword blocking in the router, as strange as this sounded, this worked for me.
My netgear router came with this checked by default, but I have never used the feature - it is blank, no checking going on because there is nothing to check.
Breezy did not have this problem - and I have made no router changes since using breezy.
The update process is somehow broken? Having keyword blocking on has never caused a problem on anything before drapper. Does anyone know what is going on?
