I'm trying out inkscape, and i'm trying to make a wallpaper. I have three questions:

When I save an image I created in Inkscape, it saves fine but the text is at the top-left part of the image and it is a solid block. Text never saves right.

Can I convert .svg to .png or .jpg?

In inkscape, to make a circle glossy, you make another circle on it and give it a gradient. How can I make a gradient that's not neccesarily a in a circle? Example: I want to make a few wavy line accros the wallpaper. How can I give each level of wavy lines a new gradient?

Attachd is an example of what happens when I save text, along with a picture of what I mean about thw wavy lines.

I am new to making art and i'm really liking it. This is my first wallpaper, any comments welcome.

One of the pictures is the actual wallpaper I made. The other one is what it lokks like saved and used as background.

Is there a way I can fix this text problem?
Comments welcome!

select the text then click on TEXT then convert to text and save the file that should fix the problem with it not displaying the text in the image.
