Hello, I am going to start off by saying I am 100% new to Linux, and Ubuntu is my first distro I have decided to try. Through reading alot of forum posts and guides I have gotten off onto a decent start. But now this part of my quest is leaving me annoyed. I have installed Wine and World of Warcraft, actually had WoW running immediately after the new patch was installed. But now I can't access my WoW folder to get to the wow.exe. I can't even access my wine folder.

When I type winecfg in a terminal. Wine does pop up. When I go to Add application, I can see .wine,drive_c,Program files and WoW. But on my to search for that on my computer there is no .wine folder. Everything else but that. So I am totally lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ok problem solved, used Winfile to access the directory.

Just click on "show hidden folders" in the View tab, when using your filebrowser.

You'll find .wine in your home directory.
