taskbar

after my last update to the system the programs doesn't appear in the taskbar anymore, this is very boring because i cant see eho is talking to me on gaim, etc, this is just an example... do anyone know why does this happen and how can I resolve it?

Visually it would probably be better to create a new panel and use that exclusively for listing your open programs. To do this, just right click on an empty space on your current panel and choose "New Panel". Then right click on the new panel and select:

"Add To Panel" > "Window List"

Or you can just add this option to your current panel.

Same happened to me, but after rebooting it was fixed.
