Hey guys~
Been using Ubuntu (64 bit version) for about a week now. Really like it, I used to be a hardcore KDE fan but Ubuntu has me loving GNOME just as well. Anyways everything was running good (Nvidia drivers and XGL/Compiz were working great!) until I just installed the gnome splashscreen manager. I ran and and applied a picture to use. I then rebooted just to test it. Now when Ubuntu boots I get an error about the X server not being able to start and it brings me to the bash prompt...What happened?

AMD64 2800+
GF 6600GT
Ubuntu 6.06 AMD64

Thanks
Adam

Nevermind...it was that Xserver update!

Got it fixed.
