Online docs. I find I rarely use a book enough to make it worth the purchase price.

Usually online docs; there aren't too many books I'd shell out for. With them costing around $40 each and rapidly becoming out of date, I can't bring myself to buy many outside of a select few (The C Programming Language and other computer science canon, mostly).
