Hello,
I have a SUN E450 with about ten identical drives installed. My first question is how to correlate device labels (ie sda, sdb with the drive bays on the server) My next question is how do I configure RAID during install. When I've tried configuring RAID when I make the RAID partitions it tells me to reboot to recognize the new partitions when I do it still is unable to configure RAID. Seems like mdadm support isn't running at boot or something. Do I need to drop to a shell and load a module or pass something to the kernel on the SILO command line?
