There is a rather long and interesting interview with Mark Shuttleworth at Slashdot (http://interviews.slashdot.org/interviews/05/04/04/1859255.shtml?tid=90&tid=163&tid=160&tid=11). It was just posted.

Great interview me thinks. Usually /. ones are poo (but with interesting people). I got 5 mod points, and I blew them all on pro-Ubuntu stuff...

Very good interview. Some of the questions were stupid; but it answered a lot of questions.

"check your zipper"
Thanks... I feel civilized again! (almost)
Set em straight poofyhairguy!

It was an excellent interview. The Ubuntu stuff impressed me, but the image of sitting in a glowing capsule entering the atmosphere at 40,000 kmh or so and watching liquified nuts and bolts streaming across the porthole is not my idea of fun. The melting down of my last desktop PC's power supply and mamaboard was enough adventure for me. Maybe I'm getting old.

Next line should be:

Damn Windows ME!

I liked the way he expressed his love for his home country. Few people do this noawadays. It's also good to hear space stories from the person itself, not just some video showing a Rocket go off and then saying "MTV: Music Television" [mtv launch, 1986].
