Anyone know what font the Ubuntu Logo uses?

Well, yes and no.

It's a hand-drawn font-like design for the letters that I turned into a real font, but which I haven't received permission to give away yet...

I always thought it looked like someone just used a fat circular antialiased brush in The GIMP to make the logo. Now I know!

I turned the entire logo plus text into an .svg file so you can resize it to whatever dimensions you want. That's how I made the attached picture. Is it cool to release the svg or is there some copyright or other goodwill reason I shouldn't? :|

They already release svgs, so it shouldn't be a problem ;)

ah. Well then, I don't know why you'd want mine but since I want to show off...

Yes, it uses ubuntu-title. You can download it through Automatix as Extra Fonts.

Though just installing the package from the repositories is the recommended meathod. Automatix can break your install.
