Howto section thread question

I was wondering how long it takes for a post there to show up in the howto, tips & tricks section? I made one a few days ago and it isnt there, it also isnt in a search of all my threads. I dont want to end up with a duplicate thread. So I dont know if I should redo the thread or not.
Im wondering if there was some problem when it was posted. That or there is some reason it did not show because of content. If there was a problem would the poster get a pm or would the thread be moved to the jail? :-k

The posts in that section are moderated so that support requests don't get added in. Sometimes posts slip through the cracks.
