ok, im gonna put this as simple as i can. first off, I am a complete noob to linux systems. And do not give me answers like buy windows, or buy cedega. I can't afford anything right now.
My problem is that i want to play world of warcraft, i have tried many forums and guides to installing it, but i dont understand them. I want some simple step by step instructions for playing world of warcraft. i have just installed ubuntu, so keep that in mind.
A link, or complete instructions would be much appreciated. I have been without WoW for to long a time now.

Just type winecfg in the command line.
And do you really think you needed to start a new thread?

Edit: Yes, the text being messed up is pretty normal. It's a result of not having the MS fonts installed. It shouldn't be an issue in game, however.

I don't game game in Linux, but if fonts are a problem, Automatix installs MS fonts for you. Check out the link to Automatix at the bottom of the Forums Main Page under 3rd party projects.

Wine won't use MS fonts installed through Synaptic or Automatix. It needs them in it's own fonts folder. You can, however, get them from the MS site or from a Windows partition.
