Help me Doom3

Hello, I'm new to Ubuntu, so I dont know anything fancy.
I want to know how to install Doom3, and get it working, I've read all the other threads on Doom3 and I did'nt understand a word they were saying, Ive been using Windows my whole life up until about 2 days ago,
Please explain to me in a REALLY simple way, thanks.

download this:

http://ftp.wireplay.co.uk/pub/doom3/server/linux/doom3_1.1.1282-multilanguage.run

remeber to do save link as

sudo sh doom3_1.1.1282-multilanguage.run

This is like innstalling doom 3 in windows..just follow the wizard..

to start the game type doom3
