Help! Easy Ubuntu isn't loading up!

I've been trying for ages to get it to work, but all I keep getting is a white screen. Can anyone help me?

I built a new system today and I have not been able to connect to it either.

From googling around, I found this link that appears legit but I am not sure if it is the latest version.

Downloaded fine and it appears to be at least from June.

I have not installed it yet. I may just go the manual route to get the nvidia driver and codecs.
