Hi all.

People want XGL in EasyUbuntu. Well, we don't think it should be included. A full explanation is below.

Purpose
EasyUbuntu's purpose is to install multimedia support, etc for the new user. We don't want to get away from that purpose by adding XGL, because it will take us a lot of work to get to that and a lot of wasted time. There are other things we should be doing, such as fixing bugs or writing specs.

Resources
We don't have enough resources to change purposes. Yes, we have 6 people on the team. BUT we have me (the EasyUbuntu coding guy for Ubuntu) and KK (the documentation guy) active on IRC at the time of this posting - TWO people. Do we have enough resources to change our purpose? *I* don't think so.

If you have any questions, please feel free to reply to this post.
