I'm not sure where this should be posted but I hope someone can help.

I am trying to run MySQL Migration Tools, to convert a MSSQL database but when I try to run it, it tells me that I need libjvm.so I have tried to locate this file with no joy. Does anybody know where or how I can get libjvm.so?

You need to install Java:

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/Java#head-21b44ff330436e9f387606a337f458a3c2113a3e

Then I believe it is in this directory:

/usr/lib/jvm/java-1.5.0-sun-1.5.0.06/jre/lib/i386/
