I play a MMPOG called EVE-Online (http://www.eve-online.com - if you loved the old classic Elite, this is as close as you can get with over 10,000 players on same server!) - just this is preventing me from making a full jump from Windows to Linux (Ubuntu)...in the meantmie I use a 2nd PC to run Ubuntu, but it's no speed demon, but it's fast enough to play the game though.
I wondered if anyone have managed to get the game working on Linux, especifically Ubuntu and if so, how did you do it? Many thanks

I'm sure it could run alright underneath Cedega, it's even under the approved games list. Get it at http://www.transgaming.com/

Isn't Cedega a pay for product :-(
I will look at http://www.vendetta-online.com though, as EVE is getting a bit dull at the moment.

I've got it installed and workingish with cedega 4.3 but it stalls after login.
not playable right now. this is going through dante-client socksify, so maybe that's the problem.
