Ubuntu was awarded a PC World 2006 World Class Award (http://www.ubuntu.com/news/pcworld2006), identifying it as one of PC World’s 100 Best Products (http://www.pcworld.com/reviews/article/0,aid,125706,pg,13,00.asp) of the Year — all the way up at number 27! Ubuntu was the only Linux distribution listed, but is among quite a number of Open Source and Free Software friends. Hooray!
