Hi

First of all, I want to thank you for making this peace of art. :)

My question or suggestion is, would it be possible to make a module which checks your call hostory from your Asterisk PBX, it would be great for me, and I am sure that there are many other people who needs that also. So when I am away, I can simply log in to my center and check that also.
Asterisk by it selv has that future, but I want it all i one single center. :)

By the way, I have dyndns account which points to my static IP, but as I have installed apache2, now everybody can access and browse my files in /var/www/. How can I deny access to this folder? Is it .htaccess file or somewhere in apache config files?
Security concerns me, is there any other tip I should know concerning apache, change some default values or something like that?

Sorry for my bad english.

Regarding the asterisk module, you said Asterisk is can already do this, is the current way to do this web based? If the licensing works out this could be easily ported as a plugin. Although I don't know much about Asterisk ATM I am very interested in it and am going to play with it a little more in the future.

Thanks!

Well, i am using asterisk@home version, it is now known as trixbox i think.
It has own webbased managament portal, there you can check all from system status, callhistory, setup options, you can even modify all config files as well. So .php files are there.... for example, if i want to check my callhistory, asterisk runs reports.php file at the following location: http://ipaddress_of_asterisk/admin/reports.php?

I am very new to linux and programming, but if there is a anything i can do to help, as testing or something like that, just let me know.
The easyest way for you is just to set up your own asterisk, hardware requierments are minimal.

You can visit those websites, there is a lot of documentation on this field. :)
