Hi. I've hit a brickwall and need some help :-k I'm trying to implement an integrity check for the firmware on a SunFire V240. It seems if I could get the actual firmware from the box, I could run it through a hash function and then compare values. Does anyone know how to get the firmware from the box? I don't want to just get the firmware version number... I doubt any hackers would bother to change the version number along with changing the firmware...
On the other hand... does anyone know of any products that will do such an integrity check? Now THAT would solve my problem.
