[SOLVED] Doom Freezes

I'm currently trying to play freedoom in Dapper but it keeps locking up. Has anyone had a similar problem, or suggest a fix?

I'm running an NVIDIA video card. Is it possible I need to install the NVIDIA driver?

Sorry I'm not more specific, but any help would be appreciated.

the standart drivers don't support 3D games very well. But actually it should work more or less.

But i'd deffinately install the Nvidia drivers and try again!

Freedoom is a data file. Which doom engine are you running ?
