Just one question:

is it possible to change icon and not to write anything (instead of menu)?

Yes.

Just open up Gconf -> apps -> USP

Delete the text in "applet_text"

Thank you very much :)

=D> =D>

It was the only thing that prevented me from using USP :)

Yes :D and you can also change the icon to something else in your /usr/share/icons :) from your current theme

try something like: "computer" as icon :)
you can configure it in gconf-editor somewhere

Hi All,

Tell me please anybody, what kind and what dimension of icon I should use in this application?
In the gconf-editor I set up the icon: /usr/share/icons/Tango/22x22/devices/computer.png and the app_icon_size to 1 (2,3,4), but I don't get any icon at all, although I restart the X.
The application shows just an "?" sign in the litle cube, and nothing other.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks in advance.

You just have to type the name of the icon.
for example "computer"

Hi,
Nothing happens when I modify in the gconf-editor/apps/usp/applet_icon_size key from "/usr/share/icons/Tango/22x22/devices/computer.png" to "/usr/share/icons/Tango/22x22/devices/computer".
What should the icon size be?
I tried all 4 sizes but nothing happens although after every changes I restarted the X.
In my first message I wrote, that there is a sign "?".
It was not true, in the cube instead of computer icon the right sign is "x".

just computer..
no /usr/share.....
only the word "computer"
and you probably have to delete and add the applet again for the changes to take effect (because my patch is not properly applied, I hope chanders will fix this as a bugfix release 0.31.1 or something like that)

Samui-2.0 (http://www.deviantart.com/view/35190573/)

Note that samui inherits Aero, so you should have it installed as well.
Aero icon theme. (http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=35437)

(Mine is a little modified) ;)

Remember if you want to change the colour of USP you need to do that in gconf.
