I'm trying to install ut2004 on my Inspiron 5150. For some reason hda is my cdrom and hdc is my primary hard drive. When I install off of the CD (and when copying the cd to the hard drive), it says I have approx 1 gig free and the install is about 5 gig. This prevents me from installing and is obviously a show-stopper.
Whenever I set the install target directory to /opt/ut2004 the free space goes down to 1gig. When I try to install in /home, the space jumps up to 24 gig but I get the 'You don't have permissions to install the package' error as root and a regular user.
Any ideas? This really has me stumped/annoyed :(
